Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of Style Unit (Customer App) and Style Unit Partner (Salon Owner App), collectively the “Platform”. By registering, accessing, or using the Platform, Customers and Vendors agree to these Terms.
1. Agreement Scope
The Platform connects customers with registered salons (“Vendors”) for services like haircuts, spa treatments, and grooming. The Company acts as an intermediary and does not own or operate salons listed on the Platform. All bookings must be made via the official mobile apps or website.
2. Customer (User) Terms
a. Booking & Payment
- Customers may pay at salon or via the in-app payment portal (Razorpay or other integrated gateways).
- Provide accurate booking details (name, phone, appointment time). The Company may cancel bookings with false or misleading information.
b. Cancellation & No-Show
- Cancel at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled time to avoid penalties.
- Repeated no-shows may result in temporary suspension or permanent account deactivation; reactivation may require a penalty fee.
c. Service Responsibility
The Company facilitates bookings only. Each Vendor is responsible for service quality, staff behaviour, and materials. Payments after service must be made to the Vendor unless otherwise specified.
d. Behaviour & Misuse
Respectful behaviour is required. Misconduct, abuse, or property damage may lead to suspension and legal action for misuse or fraudulent bookings.
e. Refunds & Disputes
The Company does not generally handle refunds for payments made directly to Vendors. Report service complaints to info@styleplusunit.com. The Company will assist but is not obligated to compensate.
f. Privacy & Data Use
User data (name, contact, email, location) is used for bookings and communications and protected as per our Privacy Policy. The Company is not responsible for data misuse by third-party integrations (Google Maps, Razorpay, Firebase).
3. Vendor (Salon) Terms
a. Registration & Verification
Vendors must provide valid business details and pass verification to accept bookings on the Platform.
b. Commission & Payment
The Company charges a commission per booking. After commission, payouts are transferred to the Vendor (subject to technical delays). Payments are subject to applicable taxes.
c. Service & Quality
Vendors are expected to maintain professionalism, hygiene, and service quality. Fraud or repeated complaints may lead to removal from the Platform.
d. Pricing & Offers
Vendors must list accurate pricing and offers. Hidden fees or overcharging may lead to deactivation.
e. Data & Privacy
Vendors should use customer information only for the service provided and must not misuse or share data.
f. Termination & Penalty
The Company may suspend or terminate Vendor accounts for breaches. Termination by Vendor requires 30 days written notice. Penalties may be imposed for violations.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Styleplus Unit LLP is not liable for direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from service failures, payment disputes, data misuse by third parties, app downtime, or events beyond our control. The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties.
5. Policy Amendments
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms; significant changes will be communicated where possible.
